Today I craved American food.
I got McDonalds.
It did not digest properly for about five hours. I think my stomach has adjusted to rice and noodles.
I also went to Jusco in Tai Koo to buy a pencil case. I was rewarded with aisles and aisles of Sanrio characters and other Asian anime idols printed on stationary, pens, pencils, folders, erasers, staplers, tape, wallets, umbrellas, soaps... you name it. After half an hour of walking around, I finally spotted what I was looking for.
KeroKeroKeroppi!!
This is by far my most favoritestestest Sanrio character ever made. I have no idea why, but ever since I was really little, I just loved Keroppi. I learned that it is called Pi Pi Wa in Chinese. I got a folder, notebook, and matching pencil case with Keroppi. I haven't seen Keroppi being sold in the states for a few years now. It kind of lost popularity and Hello Kitty sells alot better so the sad little Sanrio stores in Chinatown stopped carrying Keroppi. =( But its okay, Jusco had so much Keroppi!! I will buy everything Keroppi before I come back haha! Jusco also had a sale on duvet covers so I picked up a Keroppi duvet with matching pillow cases. Fantabulous!
Oh yea... as a side note I had my second class today! MGTO120, intro to management. MC and fill in the blank exams. Group project due at the end. Seems pretty straightforward. Elec152 was yesterday and a typical engineering class. The prof eerily reminds me of Gang Qu. If he is anything like Qu, I am so screwed.
Eugene, Yi Pei and I went to Yau Ma Tei last night. Lots of shopping and wandering around. We stopped at a street restaurant to eat which turned out to be pretty good! Deep fried oysters with enough oil to kill all three of us. Frog leg congee and gan chow niu hua.
I am signing up for skill sport classes tomorrow. Applications are due on the 5th, then they make announcements on the 7th for which class you get. I have on my list squash, table tennis, archery, badminton, and tennis. Lets hope I get one of them haha =]
